Yesterday I shared this LO over at scraplagret blog.

It´s about my summer of firsts… The first time I ate Ice-Cream out of the box, being alone at the beach, caring for my kids  and also some partying… as a single mom. The first of everything..

Tag it!

I have been at home with two sick kids.. and with kids big enough to enjoy themselves with TV, video games and board games, I have had enough time to actually sit down between the fights and create.

This time I had an Idea of creating a masterpiece LO,,,, but somehow the mojo didn´t appear.. so it ended up as tags instead.

They can come at handy when I need a quick and easy gift tag.

The tag didn´t take loads of time.. but it gave me a bit inky fingers.

I used distress inks to color my tags, I used the darkest at the edges and the lighter at the center. Then I added my stamps with black VersaMark, and added some color touches with distress markers to the stamped image.

Materials used:
Manila Tags- various sizes and colors.

Distress ink- blue tag: Tumbled glass, peacock feather,  peeled paint, Pink tag: picked raspberry, tattered rose, Orange tag: Barn door, Squeezed lemonade, Spiced marmalade

Distress markers- mowed lawn, ripe persimon, squeezed lemonade, festive berries, picked raspberry, iced spruce

Stamps- Prima Marketing/Finnabair, Studio Calico, Unity Stamps/Donna Downey, Bo Bunny

Tittut! -peek-a-boo!

This is the second page i did yesterday playing with some new photos I took of my children the other day.

With this one I played around with some lovely color spray,  distress inks and my favorite stencils..

Vinterlek-Winter games

The other day me and the kids visited a friend, and we had loads of fun… before we went home we took a stroll through the neighborhood. The kids played around, and when my Son found an old concrete pipe, he yelled… mom its PHOTO-TIME!!! (yup I have scrap-damaged kids) the photos of him and his darling sister turned out really well… and I scrapped them right away. This is one of the LO´s I did today. The base of this LO is really simple, I made the pattern using an pilot ink pen, and my Silhouette Cameo to draw this whimsical background, added some dots using a Prima Marketing stencil, and beautiful Tim Holtz Distress ink and distress marker -Pumice Stone.

The flowers are from Prima, and Wild Orchid Crafts. and other than that its a Manila Tag, and some patterned stripes of paper from Carta Bella.

Love You Forever!

A while back I got a new printer from my dear husband, a huge apparatus that is able to print really large media, watercolor papers and even on canvas. I decided I wanted to try out printing 12″ patterned papers on cardstock, and I chose the colorwash  and Nantucket series from Pink Paislee. And it turned out AMAZING!! loved it.. and it really kicked my creative Mojos butt, and I have been printing loads of fun digital papers and I have a creative overload at the moment.

toghether with fun cut-files from Silhouette I created this LO. and I loved how it turned out.

Making a Halloween set

Yesterday the #2 challenge for September was presented at the Hobbyworld blog.

Its such a fun challenge, make a set of at least three different things to match each other…

My inspiration piece was a set for the Halloween party, a card, a treat-bag, and a place card.

All made with loads of Spellbinder dies.

I had so much fun making these,,, and I actually did them during a Skype scrap-get-together with my friend Petra.

Do you have scrappy friends close-by or do you also use the cyber-world to connect with your scrappy peeps?

All the Hobbyworld retailer-friends you can find here 🙂
