The other day I was asked to create a cute match-box for a friend of mine.
She wanted something pretty to put on her livingroom table instead of those ugly matchboxes you get in the store.
Well.. this is what I came up with…
I hope that she will like it…
Graphic 45- secret garden
My Minds Eye- stickers
Flowers- Wild orchid crafts
Martha Stewart- punches leaves
The Twinery- Twine Ocean
This last month have been awful, and all I have done is surviving, and trying to keep sane. In between the chaos of being in the middle of a divorce with all the emotional rollercoaster that comes with it…. (Being everything from a mad flying monkey to crying curled up in bed) I actually have been doing some creative work.. even if its been more than hard to bring out the papers and scissors, I have been forcing myself to do some therapeutic work… like this LO for Gauche Alchemy…..
And this LO for the Studio Challenges….
And this creative piece I made for the Scraplagret blog…..
My life have been a bit turbulent these last couple of weeks, involving moving and getting myself a new home. So my bloggin have been a wee bit on hold.
Yesterday the Studio Challenges had a sketch challenge… and I really loved it. It´s a sketch with lots of possibilities, and I created this LO without photos this time around.
want to check out the sketch and the other talented ladies work… please stop by the Studio blog.
Yesterday I shared a pretty decorated journal I´ve made using the BoBunny Primreose Collection over at Scraplagret blog.
I love that romantic collection, and it gave me such a boost to just create pretty “Vintage/Romantic” stuff :)
And since I´m mostly a “Quirky scrapper”, as a good friend of mine described my style…. the romantic style really was a challenge, but FUN!
If you would like to check the entire journal out… please visit the Scraplagret blog.
Magnolia: Vintage Berries
The Twinery- Solid Caribbean
Martha Stewart punch
Silhouette Cameo- Diecuts
I got such a sweet message a couple of weeks ago on FB, asking me to join an awesome talented crowd of gals creating their mixed-media hearts out.
It will take some time before I will officially contribute to the Gauche Alchemy teamblog, but I for sure look forward to my first work….
Have you seen their stuff?? If not… well check it out —>what are you waiting for??<——-
See? I told you.. lovely vintange stuff, loads of mixed media junk,,, :)
Today I´m blogging a LO over at Scraplagret. My first DT package was filed to the brim with gorgeous papers and embellishments from BoBunny.
If you would like to know what materials used.,… check out the blogpost over at Scraplagret.
HAve a great day!
Well I´m married since a long time ago, and I´m not invited to any weddings as I know of… but I know that I will have a demo sharing ideas how to make wedding, baptism, and birthday cards at a local store in about a week.
This card is made with a base and swirls cut with the Silhouette Cameo, and a reprint stamp, and flowers.. loads of flowers, and glitter glue :)
This time the challenge is M for March – make a layout using the letter M! It could be the title or anything being with M!
Create and have fun..
I created a real EGO boost for this challenge:
Me, Myself and I
I have really had fun, using loads of distress inks, and flowers. The stickers are from my all time favourite Hambly, that unfortunately isn´t around anymore :(
Distress Ink- Tumbled glass, Antique linen, pumice stone, picked raspberry
Flowers- Wild Orchid Crafts
Stamps- Studio Calico, Bo Bunny, Prima, glitz design
