Making a Halloween set

Yesterday the #2 challenge for September was presented at the Hobbyworld blog.

Its such a fun challenge, make a set of at least three different things to match each other…

My inspiration piece was a set for the Halloween party, a card, a treat-bag, and a place card.

All made with loads of Spellbinder dies.

I had so much fun making these,,, and I actually did them during a Skype scrap-get-together with my friend Petra.

Do you have scrappy friends close-by or do you also use the cyber-world to connect with your scrappy peeps?

All the Hobbyworld retailer-friends you can find here :)

It´s summer but feels like October

Hi!

Sometimes it feels like summer is far away even if the calendar says it should be sunny and hot. If I´m looking out my window right now, the rain is pouring down and its feeling like October not July.

Today I´m sharing this page I did for Hobbyworld DT  for the August challenge, and its about how I want it to be when its summer, and not as it really is.  I love to sit in the sun enjoying myself, not be inside watching the rain fall down from the sky.

When I created this page, I used the Sizzix frame Fancy Rectangle and the Stampingear from Inkadinkado.

I also used my Silhouette to cut out some fun shapes… (but not all of them ended up on this page).

The Best Day Ever!

Well I can hardly believe it.. that little bundle of joy that I held in my arms… isn´t that little anymore.
Not even his baby sister is that little… they are growing each day.. and well.. he is soon to be 11yrs old.. and in this pace he will be grown up, and out of the house trying his own wings in no time at all…..

This time I wanted to try and oldie but Goldie… in a new package… so I took out my box with watercolors, and added some blue and yellow at the background…

I also used my sewing machine adding some stitching to the page…

The flags are cut out in aquarellpaper using The Silhouette, and adding a bit of watercolors to them too.best-day-2-Katarina-Damm-BlombergI had really fun creating this page, and I will for sure make a few more with watercolors in the upcoming weeks…

My Girl!

It´s been a while since I did some proper scrapping. The summer with kids at home from school, and loads of activities, has not given enough time to sit down and enjoy the process.

But yesterday I had the entire evening by myself, and I actually did loads of creating. And one of the things was this LO.

Have fun!

Amazing and Cool!

Today I´m up over at the Hobbyworld blog, showcasing this LO i did the other day.

It´s a page with a rare motif,  it´s my boy, and he is not that fond being showcased on the internet, but in this pic he “looks cool”,  so he granted me permission to actually show this LO on my blog and the HW blog.

To make the background-arrows I have used a stencil and the NEW, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC Acrylic Craft Paint from Martha Stewart. The colours are so amazingly vibrant,,, and they don´t turn in to an ugly brown mess when mixed… I LOVE!!

cool-3-july-Katarina-Damm-BlombergCan you tell this kid will give me a heartache one day, being a good looker he will have loads of girls to choose from. Even though he don´t know it himself yet. But I know, since the girls already visits his sister, and always asks…. is he home too? *lol*
