There come times when you just need to create.. your entire body is itching to be creative.. and today have been one of those days.
This weekend I have been diagnosed with contact dermatitis, and that gives my hands itchy blisters… not fun at all… and that means that I have to use cotton gloves in everything I do. And with my hands covered in bandages… what happens?? The MOJO strikes big time… so its been a struggle using those gloves and handle glue and inks… but I got it done

I actually forgot to show the last LO I made during 2013, a LO about my daughter.
She has a fun habit when she is sleeping, she uses a headband to cover her eyes. just like a mask.
I wanted to make this LO just as dreamy as she is, and I used papers and masks from Prima, swirls cut out with my cameo, and flowers from Wild orchid Crafts and some of my favorite color twine -ocean from The twinery.
Started doing zentangles the other day, and it is so much fun, and relaxing to go wild with patterns and colors.
Today I played around, just got carried away enjoying myself.
I keep working with my One Little Word project, and today I´m sharing with you a fun thing I created this afternoon.
My friend and former DT colleague Maya showed me a fun card she had made using a zentangle technique. and I loved it, and wanted to try it right away.
I searched Pinterest for some fun ideas, and I got to it…
first I created a small journalingcard.
Rather quick I realized that this was more than just fun.. it was perfect for my One little word album. So I started to create some more… and as you can see, I had an awesome time, getting in to a groove with pencils, ink and aquarelles.
I will for sure do this some more.. It was a great way to get some creativity going.. and not only I did some zentangles…. my daughter caught the bug too..
really easy to get beautiful results even if you are 8yrs old or
18 hrm….. 30+ *lol*
Pencils- Macron Sakura 08, Martha Stewart .1, and .7
Aquarelle pencils- Faber Castell
One little word can change everything.. a harsh word can give long going consequences, just as positive words can create miracles.
Ali Edwards is having this one year thing called One Little Word.
What do you do with this one little word?
You live with it. You invite it into you life. You let it speak to you. You might even follow where it leads. After some thought I have decided to let the word balance be a part of my life during 2014.
This is a word that comes to my mind lately, to find harmony and balance in my life. Not letting negative energy take over, but without negative there will be no positive. So there need to be room for both.
Right now I need to focus on balancing out the negative that has been a huge part of my life this last six months. Loads of negative energy has been poured at me. I need to get a positive vibe again. Let my creativity run wild, make harmony at home, and be a positive person. But it will take loads of work to cleanse the soul from the negative that have taken over, to reprogram my mind to feel happy and relaxed again. But I am determined that I will succeed.
“Balance is nothing you find, it´s something you create.”
The other day I was asked to show how I make my journals, and how to make the Coptic stitches. And I made a small tutorial, the quality isn’t the best.. I’m trying hard to find the right settings during the editing and uploading to find the best quality.

Yesterday I created a new LO, using fun materials from Silhouette, Wild Orchid Crafts, LilyBee Design and Studio Calico
I really love the combo of orange, turqouise and black/grey.
It’s been ages since I actually did some sketching. But this weekend I actually sat down, and practiced. I’m really rusty with the sketch pen, but I really enjoy the challenge to get a decent sketch skill again.
This year I’m going todo the OLW class with Ali Edwards, having a word that is what you strive to during the year. After a lot of thinking my word will be balance.
To keep track of my journey I brushed of my old bookbinding skills, and made me anew journal.
My daughter got inspired too, and I teached her to create an easy sketchbook. She loved it!

2013 was a year that was a lot to handle, both on a personal level as work, and it took a great toll on me. I´m hoping 2014 will be a bit easier on me.
This LO is about that, its time to leave all sorrows behind, and try to look at 2014 with an open mind.
