An interesting day…

Today has been the mental meltdown day in my house… and I made the black belt in Meltdowns….

Well let me put it like this…. I expect flowers chocolate a good wine and a beautiful neclace and a candle light dinner tomorrow….  No I dont expect this after every nuclear meltdown in this household… just tomorrow…

Why? Bec me and my husband Celebrate 11 yrs as married tomorrow.. and 15 as a couple….

well… to get back on track.. after the meltdown I thought of a saying I read somewhere on the web a couple of days ago… “If you are feeling blue.. try paint yourself in another color”

Love paint… a colleague of mine suggested bodypaint… naaah not my style… (getting on the wrong track again)…

Well.. I started painting.. and let me tell you that kind of painting was some time since the last time… I actually painted stamped Images.

There was a Time when I did it all the time… Thats how I ended up with scrapbooking. it feels like about a million years ago.. but I actually started my DT career as an International Designer for the Magnolia Rubberstamps.

bla bla bla.. Will she ever get to the point??……

Well I took out some colourpencils and started painting.. and I actually taped the entire process… and YES!!! I did a Video Tutorial about it..

The thought was to make something for my digital training programme we are having at work.. but as with alot today.. I sort of sidestepped myself and ended up with something else than I had in mind when I started…

Love never fails! WOW embossing

Today Im up at the WOW embossing blog, sharing a small video about a quick and easy card you can make for any type of occasion.

Perhaps you are going to a house warming party, a baby christening, or a birthday party? This card is assembled in just a couple of minutes, that gives you time for other preps.

materials used for this card: White Cardstock, Spellbinders  edgeabilities, Basic Grey Plumeria, Wow embossing powder Presidio Purple,  WOW stamp Flowers, Twine colour stone- The Twinery, sentiment card, doily and adhesives.

I gave it my best… but it wasnt my time …

Tattered Angels DT calls to the new team went out yesterday.. and well I didnt become one of the lucky gals getting a call.. Well, there is always next year…

Since the call is set.. Im showing my art that Ive sent in for the call…

I started working on my app a long time ago.. and the first piece I did was an altered handbag.. and yes! I did it all.. I sew, painted and stamped this bag from the first stitch.

my second piece was a tag:

and the third piece was a LO, using lots of mists and gesso…

I even made a video from the making of the LO, if you want to check it out you can.. Ive made it open for public now

Echo Park- Freshface

Have you seen that Echo Park is having a fresh face call?? Well it sounded fun, so I thought why not give it a try? :)

so here is my  pieces for the Call:

A LO with my dear friends puppy Leia, isnt she cute? This page have been published in the swedish scrap mag Inzpira and I can finally show it to you!!  :)

This cute cake is really easy to do using a template i found  over at splitcoaststampers

i had an Idea of making a whole cake for my daughter 6yrs birthday party and each slice would be filled with a few pieces of candy and other stuff aproriate for little ladies but the time just ran away  :s

I also made a small birthdaycard, made with the same paperline-For the record, the stamp is from the Swedish brand Magnolia and is coloured with aquarelles.

Well the Echo Park For the record Paperlines was the April kit from My scrap book Nook.. and  the Dots and stripes christmas collection I got as a gift from my sweet friend Leah that is the DT coordinator at My scrapbook Nook.

Ok I woke up this morning with a mission- Spellbinders DT round one :)

I had dreamt what I would make for my first entry for the Spellbinder Paper arts Designteam call round one.
