Today I have had a nerve-wrecking day, and to let go of some of the stress I was a bit creative tonight. I love it when I have that possibility, to just sit down and have a sip of wine, a piece of chocolate and create… well today minus the wine and the chocolate…
Distress Ink- Tim Holtz
Stamps- Prima, Bo Bunny, Glitz Designs
Flowers- Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts
well there are a few secrets in my life at the moment.. all of them art related, and this is one of them..
I have been invited to join the Studio Challenges team…. And today there is a new challenge up on the blog.. Scrap-lift yourself.
I chose to scraplift this old LO from 2010
I love this old LO, and I used the cluster and decorations as inspo when I did this new LO:

Finnabair/Prima- punchinella stamp
Tim Holtz- Distress Ink
Wild Orchid Craft- flowers
Studio Calico- Wood Veneer letters, Word stamps
Today, when I had my early day off work, I got home and got a bit inky… I have had so much fun letting ink drip, and splatter around, and I think my fingers looks like I´ve been in an accident, blue, black, orange and purple…

I guess you can tell my favorite masks are from Prima, right…. they are really absolutely amazing, love the texture and patterns.. and the other day I found some lovely Finnabair/Prima stamps at the local shop. And I was all over the place… yeeeeeeeah…… happy!!! together with some lovely metallic ink dabbers and it was like heaven!!
This is the second page i did yesterday playing with some new photos I took of my children the other day.
With this one I played around with some lovely color spray, distress inks and my favorite stencils..
Silhouette Cameo- chevron/arrow
Flowers, masks-Prima Marketing Inc.
Art Anthology- Color Spray
Tim Holtz- Distress Ink, and Distress Markers.
The other day me and the kids visited a friend, and we had loads of fun… before we went home we took a stroll through the neighborhood. The kids played around, and when my Son found an old concrete pipe, he yelled… mom its PHOTO-TIME!!! (yup I have scrap-damaged kids) the photos of him and his darling sister turned out really well… and I scrapped them right away. This is one of the LO´s I did today. The base of this LO is really simple, I made the pattern using an pilot ink pen, and my Silhouette Cameo to draw this whimsical background, added some dots using a Prima Marketing stencil, and beautiful Tim Holtz Distress ink and distress marker -Pumice Stone.
The flowers are from Prima, and Wild Orchid Crafts. and other than that its a Manila Tag, and some patterned stripes of paper from Carta Bella.
There are a few fun creative things going on behind the scenes… and today I have been scrapping some great papers from Color Conspiracy and some oldies but goodies from Jillibean Soup.
There is rarely any photos of me and my husband together… wonder why? there are tons of pics of our children and about three of me and my husband on the same photo.. and one of those are our wedding portrait. I think I need to get some of my scrappy photographing skilled friends to help me out with a photo-session of the entire family this summer…
Patterned Paper- Jillibean Soup
Patterned papers- Color Conspiracy
Mists: Tattered Angel
Die cuts- Silhouette
Flowers- Wild orchid crafts
Have a great day!
There come times when you just need to create.. your entire body is itching to be creative.. and today have been one of those days.
This weekend I have been diagnosed with contact dermatitis, and that gives my hands itchy blisters… not fun at all… and that means that I have to use cotton gloves in everything I do. And with my hands covered in bandages… what happens?? The MOJO strikes big time… so its been a struggle using those gloves and handle glue and inks… but I got it done

I actually forgot to show the last LO I made during 2013, a LO about my daughter.
She has a fun habit when she is sleeping, she uses a headband to cover her eyes. just like a mask.
I wanted to make this LO just as dreamy as she is, and I used papers and masks from Prima, swirls cut out with my cameo, and flowers from Wild orchid Crafts and some of my favorite color twine -ocean from The twinery.
Yesterday I created a new LO, using fun materials from Silhouette, Wild Orchid Crafts, LilyBee Design and Studio Calico
I really love the combo of orange, turqouise and black/grey.
2013 was a year that was a lot to handle, both on a personal level as work, and it took a great toll on me. I´m hoping 2014 will be a bit easier on me.
This LO is about that, its time to leave all sorrows behind, and try to look at 2014 with an open mind.
