I love spring!

Finally there is an end to this long cold winter.  I love snow, but when its time for spring,,, Im really longing for sun, pretty flowers, and a bit warmer weather.

 

 

 

This time I played with some homemade masks when I did my assignment for the Hobbyworld blog. I love colour and this time I made my own masks using my Silhouette and regular drawing-papers, to make these  masks a bit more durable I covered the paper with book cover plastic before I cut it out. That gave my mask a durable surface when rubbing of inks and mists.

.:Fars Dag:.

Årets fars dag firar maken någonstans i en skog i Slovakien med att jaga.. Vi hoppas att han har det bra.

Barnen är inte så fundersamma över att pappa inte är hemma, de har varit förberedda och vet att han kommer hem om några dagar och får då bli firad av familjen med god mat och presenter nästa helg.

Mer problem har de då istället med sin älskade farfar, alla hans söner är bortresta över fars dag… så vem ska då fira farfar? Inte några problem på den fronten heller, de hade en lösning…

barnen har filat på fina teckningar och presenter åt sin farfar för att visa sin uppskattning.

Själv har jag ett STORT  problem.. vad ger man till sin svärfar? Han har precis hjälpt mig att renovera och rusta upp ett gammalt kök som ska bli min alldeles egna ateljé förvaring..

ja.. en bok, eller en halsduk är uteslutet….det känns för futtigt på något sätt!

jag får helt enkelt göra något jag är relativt bra på… att skapa…

och dagens gåva till Farfar blir detta:

 

Hoppas nu han tycker om den, gör han inte det får han väl få en bok  eller strumpor nästa gång

och JO jag är medveten om att nu måste jag komma på en likvärdig present åt svärmor till julen så det inte blir orättvist… *skratt*

WOW Embossing

Yesterday the Powder puff Girls (me included) showed our work of the month post, and I loved playing with the Bark Embossing powder.

And this is my LO

To make that beautiful embossed background I have used the Inkadinkado Stamping gear, together with an embossingpad, and Bark embosspowder.

I´m working two continents today…

Well if I was able to clone myself I would probably be sitting under a palmtree sipping a nice strawberry daquiri right now… the dreadful autumn is her with thunder roaring and there is lightning! hua!!!  I would much rather have sun and a nice beach infront of me instead of correct essays made by my pupils…
