An interesting day…

Today has been the mental meltdown day in my house… and I made the black belt in Meltdowns….

Well let me put it like this…. I expect flowers chocolate a good wine and a beautiful neclace and a candle light dinner tomorrow….  No I dont expect this after every nuclear meltdown in this household… just tomorrow…

Why? Bec me and my husband Celebrate 11 yrs as married tomorrow.. and 15 as a couple….

well… to get back on track.. after the meltdown I thought of a saying I read somewhere on the web a couple of days ago… “If you are feeling blue.. try paint yourself in another color”

Love paint… a colleague of mine suggested bodypaint… naaah not my style… (getting on the wrong track again)…

Well.. I started painting.. and let me tell you that kind of painting was some time since the last time… I actually painted stamped Images.

There was a Time when I did it all the time… Thats how I ended up with scrapbooking. it feels like about a million years ago.. but I actually started my DT career as an International Designer for the Magnolia Rubberstamps.

bla bla bla.. Will she ever get to the point??……

Well I took out some colourpencils and started painting.. and I actually taped the entire process… and YES!!! I did a Video Tutorial about it..

The thought was to make something for my digital training programme we are having at work.. but as with alot today.. I sort of sidestepped myself and ended up with something else than I had in mind when I started…

På G är en internetbaserad scrapkurs, dvs att man kan jobba hemifrån,,, i egen takt, ni får då tillgång till ett forum enbart för de som väljer att gå kursen, samt videobaserat studiematerial. kursen sträcker sig  över en längre tidsperiod, minimum 8 veckor, och man behöver inte fundera på tex amning, fotbollsskolor, hockey,,, eller barnvakt… man klickar in på forumet de tider man själv har passligt.. kollar in ibland förinspelade undervisnings videor.. ibland blir det kanske livestreamade filmer……

är det något ni är intresserade av?

till att börja med blir nog kursen på svenska… ev kommer jag även att hålla en kurs på Engelska längre fram.

I´ve been asked to do a few online classes, and I´m thinking about it.. right now a class for the swedish speaking community is taking form, but there might be an English based class too..  are you interested??

My Second Scrap FX LO

I´m so happy that I got the opportunity to be a guestdesigner at Scrap FX, Their chipboard products are really great.. I have had a really great time playing with their stencils and chipboards…

Im a bit behind :)

During the month of August, I have been asked to be a guestdesigner for Scrap FX, that is selling really wonderful chipboardproducts, and lovely templates.

The products was really lovely to work with, and Jill who sent me the products was really generous.

I want to share with you the first LO I´ve done with their lovely products, there are a few more not published yet…

It has been an honour to work with these ladies, The Nook has been my scrappy online home since 2008, and I will miss all the lovely ladies in the DT, all the wonderful members of the messageboard, they have all been like sisters, and I will leave the Nook with heavy heart sept 31st.

Yesterday I was playing around just for fun in my art studio.. Found a fun challenge at BasicGrey, and I thought why not try it out….

and this is what I came up with

I have used the Basic Grey paper Cottage line, adorable papers… lovely colours.. its left over scraps from a HUGE project I have been doing for Hobbyworld…. cant tell you what it is.. but it will go live on monday morning at the Hobbyworld blog… Don´t miss that
